The community of Westerleigh is the situated most point of Staten Island and the last stop of the SIRT railroad. It is the town that Prohibition built. Many streets are one way and narrow, designed to deter beer deliveries. P.S. 30 is the local elementary school and I.S. 51 is the intermediate school. The Westerleigh Improvement Society is the local civic association.

Friends of Westerleigh Park Westerleigh Park is maintained by NYC Parks and the Friends of Westerleigh Park– a group of dedicated volunteers.
